About Me
Hello! My name is Catherine McAna and I am a senior Early Childhood Education major at Texas Christian University (TCU). Post graduation, I am working on my master's degree in Language and Literacy as part of an accelerated master's program.
I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I hope to stay in north Texas after graduation. My passion is to teach in grades 3-5, but I have also worked with kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd.
I went abroad in summer 2017 to Amsterdam, Paris, London, and Wiesbaden. While overseas, I got certified in Montessori training and Forest School. I am excited about teaching abroad in February 2019 in Gothenburg, Sweden. I love exploring different classrooms, in America and abroad, to see what I want to incorporate in my own.
